I used Luke once before around 8 years ago for surveying some drains put in by builders - I had a superb service. So when our house recently had various issues (slow washing machine drainage/filling utility sink and intermittent sewer smells in the utility room) I knew who to call. Luke is brilliant at communications which is hugely refreshing in this day and age, replying to every message. He came round with the team , did some camera work and smoke testing and immediately found the issues - effectively the design of a few drains was incorrect leading to build ups of sewage in one manhole leading to the odours plus an incorrectly routed washing machine drain. He quoted for the mods which was extremely reasonable and he subsequently came with the team to do the mods at an agreeable date. Needless to say the mods have worked - no build up or odours and washing machine drains like a dream with no sink backfill. Luke is only interested in solving customer problems and he is like a dog with a bone in this sense. Some tradespeople are just after a quick buck - it's brilliant to find a company who want to gain a great reputation by doing great work. Highly recommended.

I called Urban Reactive to look at a blocked soil pipe with suspected root intrusion. Luke was able to give me a good idea of cost over the phone, and had a team out to me at my earliest convenience. The guys gave me lots of information about what they were looking at and talked me through how best to resolve it. It was all very transparent and informative and they went ahead and fixed the problem with a resin casing, and showed me a video on completion. Everything is working fine again within the day and I'll be sure to call them again if I have any other problems with my drainage system.

I never thought I’d need a ‘drain man’, but having bought an aging house that had stood empty for a while and was in need of refurbishment, I found I did. Luke and his team have kept my system going whilst preparing for the build. They are knowledgable, efficient and quickly responsive in an emergency. They will be my drain company of choice when I refurbish my home. If you need a go-to drain company, Urban-Reactive are the best! Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Urban Reactive too highly. They delivered on time, to budget and to a really high standard, a new driveway at the front of my home. This required extensive works, including the removal of a large volume of concrete, new drainage and the creation of garden space. Everyone involved was truly a pleasure to deal with, unfailingly tidy, and very considerate. Having been recently widowed I was nervous about carrying out works alone - they made the process a pleasure.

Very professional, efficient and friendly service at a competitive rate. The response to my enquiry was very quick and the information provided was clear and easy to understand. The team arrived on the day and time quoted and ensured I was advised on what they were doing at every stage of the job. They were very polite and left the work area clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone else.

Sewer pipe blocked on 1st Jan and a well-known national company came out and jetted it but did not put a camera down and it blocked again days later. Insurance company sent another big company out who put a camera down, told me that the problem was tree roots but did not fix it. Urban-reactive came out, got rid of the roots and then came back a couple of weeks later to repair the pipe and raise manholes above the patio. Did a very nice job.

Great job carried out by Urban Reactive today. Damp living room wall caused by blocked gully on roof & blocked downpipe & drain full of roots. Blockage cleared, drain rebuilt with concrete & brick surround. All debris taken away. The lads were very respectful of my property whilst carrying out some of the work via a velux window in loft bedroom.
Very reliable,would highly recommend.

Septic Tanks & Treatment Plants in Rossett

A septic tank or treatment plant installation in Rossett is ideal for properties without access to mains sewerage. Our septic tank installation service will provide you with the ideal storage system for your needs. your household.

We can coordinate septic tank emptying if it approaches capacity, or oversee maintenance of your sewage treatment plant in Rossett to ensure optimal performance.

A septic tank in Rossett is a straightforward storage system that receives household sewage and serves as an alternative to the conventional mains sewer system, which is often required for rural properties to properly dispose of waste.

How does a sewage treatment plant in Rossett work?

A sewage treatment plant in Rossett happily takes care of sewage, making sure it’s safely released into waterways without harming nature. These plants convert sewage into a clean stream, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional septic tanks. Instead of requiring regular emptying by a professional, which involves transporting waste to a special treatment plant in Rossett, these plants operate quietly and efficiently to protect the environment.

How often do you need to empty a septic tank in Rossett?

How often you need to empty your septic tank in Rossett depends on how many people live in your household, how frequently it’s used, and the size of your septic tank. Typically, septic tanks require emptying every three to five years. Promptly emptying the tank is critical because overfilling can cause serious problems.

Here are some signs your septic tank might be full:

Water Levels – If you see water gathering in your garden and it hasn’t rained recently, it could be a sign that your septic tank has overflowed!

Odour – Since septic tanks handle all your household waste, they can produce a pretty strong smell. If you notice a foul odour around your home, it might be time to check your tank.

Sewage Backup – This is a clear sign that your septic tank needs attention. Reach out to a professional right away and try to use as little water as possible until it’s looked at.

Slow Drains – If your sinks, drains, or toilets are draining more slowly than usual, it could be due to a clog or blockage, which might mean your septic tank is full.

Why should you empty your septic tank?

If you maintain your septic tank in Rossett, it will last a long time, and repairs or replacements will cost a lot of money. Looking after your septic tank means regularly cleaning it.

Also, cleaning your septic tank in Rossett benefits your community, neighbourhood, and environment.

Whats the difference between Septic Tanks & Treatment Plants in Rossett

  • Sewage treatment plants need a permanent electrical supply to work. This is because they have mechanical components. Septic tanks don’t have these components and therefore don’t require a power supply.
  • A sewage treatment plant treats wastewater, whereas a septic tank only separates it. This means that wastewater from a sewage treatment plant is more environmentally friendly than wastewater from a septic tank.
  • A typical septic tank has two sections, whereas a sewage treatment plant usually has three.
  • You can drain wastewater from a sewage treatment plant straight to a local watercourse because of its cleaner wastewater. From January 1st, 2020, you cannot do this with a septic tank.

What size septic tank do I need?

The size of the septic tank in Rossett you need depends on how many people live in your household and the size of the property itself.

We can advise you on the septic tank size required for your property and lifestyle.
