I called Urban Reactive to look at a blocked soil pipe with suspected root intrusion. Luke was able to give me a good idea of cost over the phone, and had a team out to me at my earliest convenience. The guys gave me lots of information about what they were looking at and talked me through how best to resolve it. It was all very transparent and informative and they went ahead and fixed the problem with a resin casing, and showed me a video on completion. Everything is working fine again within the day and I'll be sure to call them again if I have any other problems with my drainage system.

I never thought I’d need a ‘drain man’, but having bought an aging house that had stood empty for a while and was in need of refurbishment, I found I did. Luke and his team have kept my system going whilst preparing for the build. They are knowledgable, efficient and quickly responsive in an emergency. They will be my drain company of choice when I refurbish my home. If you need a go-to drain company, Urban-Reactive are the best! Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Urban Reactive too highly. They delivered on time, to budget and to a really high standard, a new driveway at the front of my home. This required extensive works, including the removal of a large volume of concrete, new drainage and the creation of garden space. Everyone involved was truly a pleasure to deal with, unfailingly tidy, and very considerate. Having been recently widowed I was nervous about carrying out works alone - they made the process a pleasure.

The team arrived on the day and time quoted and ensured I was advised on what they were doing at every stage of the job. They were very polite and left the work area clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone else.

Sewer pipe blocked on 1st Jan and a well-known national company came out and jetted it but did not put a camera down and it blocked again days later. Insurance company sent another big company out who put a camera down, told me that the problem was tree roots but did not fix it. Urban-reactive came out, got rid of the roots and then came back a couple of weeks later to repair the pipe and raise manholes above the patio. Did a very nice job.

Great job carried out by Urban Reactive today. Damp living room wall caused by blocked gully on roof & blocked downpipe & drain full of roots. Blockage cleared, drain rebuilt with concrete & brick surround. All debris taken away. The lads were very respectful of my property whilst carrying out some of the work via a velux window in loft bedroom.
Very reliable,would highly recommend.

Septic Tanks & Treatment Plants in Mold

A septic tank or treatment plant installation in Mold is ideal for properties that do not have access to mains sewerage. Our septic tank installation service will provide you with the ideal storage system for the needs of your household.

We can arrange to empty your septic tank if it is nearly full or maintain your sewage treatment plant installation in Mold to keep it working effectively.

A septic tank is a simple storage system in Mold that your household sewage drains into, rather than going into a mains sewer system, which is often required for rural properties to dispose of their waste.

How does a sewage treatment plant in Mold work?

A sewage treatment plant in Mold treats sewage and allows it to be safely drained into a waterway with zero harm to the environment. These treatment plants convert your sewage into a clean stream.

They are an alternative to a traditional septic tank which requires emptying by a professional on a regular basis, who would then take the waste to a bespoke treatment plant in Mold for sewage.

How often do you need to empty a septic tank in Mold?

How often you need to empty your septic tank in Mold depends on how many people live in your household and how often it is used, as well as the size of the septic tank.

Generally, septic tanks will need emptying every three to five years. It’s important that the septic tank is emptied in a prompt manner, as overfilling it can have disastrous consequences.

Signs your septic tank is full

Water Levels – If you notice water pooling in your garden and it hasn’t rained recently, then that is a good sign you have overflowed your septic tank!

Odour – Since septic tanks deal with all of your waste, you can imagine it creates quite a bad smell. So when around the house, if you notice a foul smell, then this could be a sign.

Backup of Sewage – This is a definite sign that you need your septic tank seen to. You should call someone straight away and use as little water as possible.

Slow Drains – If your drains, sinks and toilets are draining slower than usual, This is usually due to a clog or blockage and could be a sign of full septic tank.

Why should you empty your septic tank?

If you look after your septic tank in Mold, it will last a very long time and repairs or replacements cost a lot of money. Looking after your septic tank means regularly cleaning it.

Also, cleaning your septic tank in Mold is healthy for your community, neighbourhood and environment.

Whats the difference between Septic Tanks & Treatment Plants in Mold

  • Sewage treatment plants need a permanent electrical supply to work. This is because they have mechanical components. Septic tanks don’t have these components and therefore, does not need a power supply.
  • A sewage treatment plant treats the waste, whereas a septic tank just separates it. This means that the wastewater that leaves a sewage treatment plant is more environmentally friendly than what leaves a septic tank.
  • A typical septic tank has two sections, whereas a sewage treatment plant usually has three.
  • You can drain wastewater from a sewage treatment plant straight to a local watercourse because of its cleaner wastewater. From January 1st, 2020 you cannot do this with a septic tank.

What size septic tank do I need?

The size of septic tank in Mold you need depends on how many people live in your household and the size of the property itself.

We can advise you on what size septic tank you need for your property and your living habits.
