I used Luke once before around 8 years ago for surveying some drains put in by builders - I had a superb service. So when our house recently had various issues (slow washing machine drainage/filling utility sink and intermittent sewer smells in the utility room) I knew who to call. Luke is brilliant at communications which is hugely refreshing in this day and age, replying to every message. He came round with the team , did some camera work and smoke testing and immediately found the issues - effectively the design of a few drains was incorrect leading to build ups of sewage in one manhole leading to the odours plus an incorrectly routed washing machine drain. He quoted for the mods which was extremely reasonable and he subsequently came with the team to do the mods at an agreeable date. Needless to say the mods have worked - no build up or odours and washing machine drains like a dream with no sink backfill. Luke is only interested in solving customer problems and he is like a dog with a bone in this sense. Some tradespeople are just after a quick buck - it's brilliant to find a company who want to gain a great reputation by doing great work. Highly recommended.

I called Urban Reactive to look at a blocked soil pipe with suspected root intrusion. Luke was able to give me a good idea of cost over the phone, and had a team out to me at my earliest convenience. The guys gave me lots of information about what they were looking at and talked me through how best to resolve it. It was all very transparent and informative and they went ahead and fixed the problem with a resin casing, and showed me a video on completion. Everything is working fine again within the day and I'll be sure to call them again if I have any other problems with my drainage system.

I never thought I’d need a ‘drain man’, but having bought an aging house that had stood empty for a while and was in need of refurbishment, I found I did. Luke and his team have kept my system going whilst preparing for the build. They are knowledgable, efficient and quickly responsive in an emergency. They will be my drain company of choice when I refurbish my home. If you need a go-to drain company, Urban-Reactive are the best! Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Urban Reactive too highly. They delivered on time, to budget and to a really high standard, a new driveway at the front of my home. This required extensive works, including the removal of a large volume of concrete, new drainage and the creation of garden space. Everyone involved was truly a pleasure to deal with, unfailingly tidy, and very considerate. Having been recently widowed I was nervous about carrying out works alone - they made the process a pleasure.

Very professional, efficient and friendly service at a competitive rate. The response to my enquiry was very quick and the information provided was clear and easy to understand. The team arrived on the day and time quoted and ensured I was advised on what they were doing at every stage of the job. They were very polite and left the work area clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone else.

Sewer pipe blocked on 1st Jan and a well-known national company came out and jetted it but did not put a camera down and it blocked again days later. Insurance company sent another big company out who put a camera down, told me that the problem was tree roots but did not fix it. Urban-reactive came out, got rid of the roots and then came back a couple of weeks later to repair the pipe and raise manholes above the patio. Did a very nice job.

Great job carried out by Urban Reactive today. Damp living room wall caused by blocked gully on roof & blocked downpipe & drain full of roots. Blockage cleared, drain rebuilt with concrete & brick surround. All debris taken away. The lads were very respectful of my property whilst carrying out some of the work via a velux window in loft bedroom.
Very reliable,would highly recommend.

What is a Drain Survey in Wrexham

A drain survey in Wrexham is a friendly inspection of your drainage system. We use our expert equipment, gently sent into your drains. These special cameras send a live feed back to us, giving us a clear view inside your drains and helping us spot any potential issues. From there, we can discuss the best solutions and take the right steps to resolve any issues, ensuring your drainage system runs smoothly. Contact us today to schedule your survey and keep your drains in top condition!

Why should My Drains be surveyed?

There are several reasons to conduct a drain survey, even if it is not strictly necessary. The primary reason for requiring a drain survey is that, when purchasing a property, such a survey can detect issues that a standard property survey may not reveal. This is because property surveyors typically lack the specialised tools and expertise to accurately assess the drainage system. Consequently, this may potentially reduce the property’s value in your favour, while the current owner would bear responsibility for any necessary repairs.

Drain surveys are also crucial for construction projects, as they identify the drainage system’s configuration. This information facilitates construction activities planning around the existing infrastructure.

Obtaining a drain survey in Wrexham could also result in significant cost savings for your current residence. The service enables early detection of potential drainage issues, preventing costly and damaging problems in the future. Problems such as pollution incidents, inadequate flow rates, and blockages could lead to serious complications if not identified early. If you are unsure whether you need a drain survey, there are warning signs to watch for. However, such issues often remain concealed until they cause a major blockage.

In conclusion, if our services can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us to arrange a drain survey.

What equipment do we use when Drain Surveying in Wrexham?

When you arrange a drain survey in Wrexham, we use the latest technology to ensure the job is done properly. Below is a rundown of exactly what we use to achieve the best results:

Waterproof cameras: We use high-tech cameras that operate in flowing water and tight spaces. This gives us a clear view of your drains and of areas that would otherwise be impossible to see.

Crawlers: Remote-controlled cameras that provide rapid visual access to sewer systems. They are highly mobile and can navigate obstructed pipes.

Access rods: We push these cameras along your drainage system because they are very flexible. This makes tight turns and corners easy to navigate.

Sonar units: If a pipe is full and visibility is limited, we use sonar surveys to provide acoustic profiling. This gives insight into the condition of the pipes.

What do we do? – The process

Every job is different; drain surveying in Wrexham. We do follow a structure. This structure allows us to maintain our top-quality service:

Call Us – Firstly you need to give us a call!

Arrival – Next, we will arrive on time and discuss your drainage issue with you before setting up the equipment needed.

Analysis – We will then access your drains and use our equipment to assess the situation.

Report – Now we will have found any damage or blockage (if any) and will relay this information back to you.

Recommend – Finally, we will use our analysis to recommend a course of action. You might decide you want the issue resolved there and then. If so, we would be happy to apply our expertise.

WHat are we likely to find?

Basically, our drain survey in Wrexham is here to help you catch almost any issue with your drainage system. Rest assured, your drainage is in good hands, as our survey is designed to provide the most thorough review available. Plus, we can share the most common problems we’ve successfully tackled.
